A small studio, on purpose.
Three people. One office. No "growth marketing manager", no AE, no series A. We make native desktop utilities because nobody else does anymore — and we get to make a living from people who appreciate the difference.
One tool. One job.
Most "productivity apps" try to be a platform. They want to be your editor, your todo, your notes, your calendar, your meditation app. They want a 14-day trial and a Slack channel for power users.
We think that's the wrong direction. A tool is a hammer. You don't need a Slack community for your hammer. You need it to drive a nail in three swings, every time, without asking your permission.
Every binary in our catalog ships under 35MB. Every one of them does one job. Every one of them launches in under 20ms. We measure these things. We refuse to ship if they regress.
What we don't do.
No electron. No web view stuffed inside a native shell. No "freemium" tier where you have to wait 8 seconds for a paywall modal. No subscription. No telemetry. No "premium" branding in the about box. No splash screen.
The list of what we don't do is longer than the list of what we do. That's deliberate.
If this sounds like the kind of software you miss —
You probably also remember Quicksilver, FastScripts, and the Mac shareware era. Welcome. The catalog is waiting.
